A Medical Tourism Facilitator is an independent company that helps coordinate a patient's all-inclusive trip to another country for medical care insuring world class care at an affordable price. Airfare, transportation, hotel and medical appointments are all coordinated and prepared for your specific needs.

We also carefully select our physicians and hospitals based on a quality-control process that guarantees excellence and value. In doing so, we ensure that the medical professionals you will be entrusting your health with are ethical and qualified and that the power of choice remains firmly in your hands.
What services does PatagoniaMed, Inc. provide?
There are a host of services incorporated in our Medical Travel program, broadly PatagoniaMed, Inc. offers two primary types of services. The first is connecting people like you who need assistance with reputable, high-quality care providers. The second is a complete care packages that include travel, accommodations and medical care. We will walk you through the entire process. You do not need to be aware of anything about the medical travel process other than your wish to receive a medical procedure.

Can I take a family member/friend with me when I am traveling?
Most of our patients decide to travel with a care companion, which is often a family member or friend. Even though PatagoniaMed will be available throughout your trip, we want you to have someone with you during your procedure. When we discuss specifics of your travel and cost, this can be factored into your personalized medical travel plan.
Where will I be staying while I’m abroad?
Before leaving the United States you will have several options for accomodations as well as tourism packages in Buenos Aires, the Capital of Argentina. PatagoniaMed Inc. has feet on the ground where you will be traveling to, our operations officer, the primary person you will be engaging with on a daily basis, will assist you with transportation, check-in and locating nearby facilities such as restaurants, Wi-Fi access, and more.
Will I be able to contact my family back home while I’m out of the country?
Of course! We want you to be able to relay your progress with your family while you are away. When you arrive at the pre-arranged hotel our Operations Officer and your point of contact will provide you with a local cell phone with internet access, and a no cost direct line to the US, as well as help to facilitate communication via Skype, E-mail, or whatever method works best for you.
Can I become familiar with my overseas physician before I travel for treatment?
Yes. We will provide details about your overseas physician and make arrangements for you to speak with him or her by phone or video conference before you travel.
Can I take a vacation or recuperate at a tourist destination?
Yes. Your physician will advise you when it is appropriate to take a vacation or recuperate at a tourist destination. Argentina many beautiful destinations and we would be happy to make your travel arrangements.
Who is the Medical Tourism Association® (MTA)?
The Medical Tourism Association® also referred to as Medical Travel Association, is the first membership based international non-profit trade association for the medical tourism and global healthcare industry made up of the top international hospitals, healthcare providers, medical travel facilitators, insurance companies, and other affiliated companies and members with the common goal of promoting the highest level of quality of healthcare to patients in a global environment. Our Association promotes the interests of its healthcare provider and medical tourism facilitator members. The Medical Tourism Association® has three tenets: Transparency in Quality and Pricing, Communication and Education.
